METAL GEAR SOLID.NET

Hey peeps,

I've just been trying to figure out why this site has two guestbooks. One is actually hidden (but linked to from the Are You Obsessed page) and both seem functional, yet I am unable to post in either at the moment. Aaanyway, that's just an aside. 

I've been having a browse of Webs' features because I am always hoping to make this site as brilliant as it can possibly be. In fact MGS.net will be celebrating 10 years on 9th August! Woooooooo!

So yes, for the moment I am back and updating again. Have a look at the different pages on the games and check out the videos I've put on them. Just trying to add a bit more colour and interest to these pages. With the release of Peace Walker, I'm also blowing the dust off the old PSP and thinking it's about time I got on my arse and played the AC!Ds, MPO and Peace Walker!! Bear with me, I don't do card games!

Once I've played them to death, four more pages will spring up anyway (and all related pages) plus I should have a PS3 by then (huzzah!!!) so that can only mean one thing - METAL GEAR SOLID 4! (and Rising, yeah - let me catch up with you guys!)

OK, so to get back to what I was saying, I've been having a look at the Webs apps and I've noticed for some time now that I can have an online store. Now I don't want to make a store just because I can, but I do enjoy selling online and I'm also willing to give this a try. I wouldn't stock official merchandise but is there any fan merchandise you'd like to see on sale (I don't know - T-shirts, mugs, etc) I refuse to make chaff grenades for people though - do you know how long that took me?! Well, I'm undecided. I don't think this site has a USP. It's just a MGS reference site rather than a comic parody or web comic. Oh, I'd love to do the latter... no inspiration though unless I can use my MGS2 action figures somehow. Hmmm, will think on there.

Ji Endo as a USP? I like! I'd buy a Ji Endo T-shirt, anyway!

So, five more days until the big day - what's in store, Liquid? Any special new content to celebrate?

Everyone can have a slice of cake (eater) - new pages coming soon but not imminent, sadly.  I have added some meaningless balloons animation to the home page but they don't really work very well. 

You guys are still alive, huh?
